In spite of a major snowstorm, 225 came out to defend women's rights on the 102nd anniversary of International Women's Day in New Paltz, NY. Initiated nationwide by WORD, The Hudson Valley Activist Newsletter organized this event at SUNY New Paltz. Over 50 organizations endorsed it. Thanks to all who took part!
