Moving forward after the election:

The last six months have seen attacks on women's rights reach new heights as politicians fought for votes - especially women's votes. Election season has finally come to a close, but our work is far from done. No matter who is elected, the struggle to defend our rights will continue.
Please join us this Saturday, Nov. 10, for a very special public forum to discuss the way forward in the struggle to defend women's rights.
At the local, state and national level, women are still facing discriminatory laws and pay inequity. We are still harassed and discriminated against at work and at school. Women are still hit hardest by the devastating budget cuts to public and social services.
Regardless of the outcome of today's election, the struggle to defend women's rights will continue.
Please join WORD LA for a special public forum on Saturday, Nov. 10 at 1 pm to discuss what's next in the struggle and how you can be part of this new, fighting movement.
Hear from local WORD organizers, join in the discussion, and get involved. Refreshments will be served and Spanish translation will be available.
We hope you can join us. And if you're on Facebook, be sure to RSVP to the event!
In solidarity,
All of us at WORD LA
