I demand the immediate resignation of Todd Akin. His disgusting attacks on women’s rights render him unfit to serve. Akin defended his opposition to equal pay for women by suggesting that businesses should have the "freedom" to discriminate against whomever they wish. He defamed victims of rape and all women on national television when he said that pregnancy is "really, really" rare in cases of "legitimate rape."

Akin wants to destroy abortion rights for all women, including rape victims. He and other right wing bigots are carrying out a war against women and women's rights. Akin must go!
